The requirement is to show the Purchase Order Number in Quote To Sales Order page on website.
Our Solution
We need to customize the form In NetSuite as well Website for viewing PO field in the Quote.
We need to create an extension for implementing the PO field on the website quote page.
In the Quote page the PO number is viewed like this,
The Example for PO field in Quote page is added below. And also extend the view to show the PO field in the quote page.
Here we can make it as editable to enter the PO Number from Quote To Sales Order page and the PO Number will be updated in the NetSuite as well. So that, we need to update the backend functionality to save or update PO field in the Quote Record.
Assumptions
- We need to customize the quote form. Then only we can implement the PO field in the quote page.
- We need to develop a UI section based on the current theme and any additional changes to the UI or functionality will be considered extra
