Proposal for Syncing Financial Tab in NetSuite to Magento

Proposal Summary 

This proposal outlines the development of a solution to display finance-related data from the NetSuite customer record to the website instance. The goal is to enhance the website’s ability to display accurate and up-to-date customer’s financial tab information to sales reps. 

The estimated time for the completion of the proposal is 92 hours. 

Requirement From Client

Client wants the financial data fields from NetSuite’s finance tab for each customer record to be visible on the corresponding customer record on the website and the information should be available for the sales reps enhancing their visibility into each customer’s financial status.

Statement of Work (SOW) 

The implementer has reviewed the requirement thoroughly and proposes the deliverables below. 

  • Suitelet Script 

An API integration will be developed to connect between the NetSuite and website platforms to transfer the NetSuite finance tab data to the website. 

if exists, the customer in NetSuite in respect with the Adobe is fetched, else an error message is shown. 

The mentioned fields values will be transferred from the NetSuite to Website. 

  • Working on the Website 

New fields will be added to the website to display the financial information in the Sales Rep view.

The financial information will be displayed in the Account information section on the customer record in the Magento backend, making it visible to the Sales Rep. The field data will be read only. 

Note: For a new customer, the fields will be empty until creation of transactions. Thus, values will be populated only if the field have values in NetSuite. 

Limit the sales rep access from editing or updating the records: The sales rep permission to edit or update the records will be denied. The rep will only have access to view information such as Sales order, invoice & Estimates. 

Open PO/SO: Currently sales rep has the option to see all the sales orders of that particular customer on the customer section of the website backend. The functionality will be altered to see all the open SO list. 

Open Invoices: A new tab will be added to the customer records, accessible from the sales representative’s view. This tab will display all open invoices, with each invoice linking directly to its detailed page when clicked. 

Statement: A new tab will be added to the customer record, accessible in the Sales Representative’s view. This tab will provide fields to select ‘From’ and ‘To’ dates, along with a submit button. Once the dates are entered and submitted, a statement PDF will be generated as available on the frontend. 

Assumptions 

The proposed solution in this proposal is developed based on the policies and guidelines provided by the client. Any changes or updates beyond those specified by the client will not be included in the current effort. Additional updates or modifications required outside the scope defined here will be considered as extra effort and may be subject to separate agreements or additional charges.

Estimate Assumptions 

The estimate includes Project management, risk analysis, system analysis, development, unit testing, regression testing, documentation and deployment. 

The rate is calculated based on our master service agreement. 

The implementor expects the client to sign off or report bugs within 7 days of UAT submission in Sandbox. If no feedback is received, the work will be considered approved, and an invoice of 84 hours will be issued.
