Proposal Summary
This proposal covers the scope of creating a vendor record in NetSuite using an external form as required by MegaResistors. A custom suitelet page link will be created and will be shared with Maga Resistors.On clicking the link, the user will be navigated to the custom page, After entering the data and on submiting the form a vendor record and associated contact records will be created in NetSuite with given data.
Requirement
Currently Mega Resistors use registration forms for vendors. Using these data a Vendor record is manually created in NetSuite. They need to have a hyperlink that need to be sent to Vendors.On clicking the link, vendor registration form need to be displayed.On submission of the form, a Vendor record need to be created in NetSuite with the data.

Deliverables
- A hyperlink will be created for Vendor registration Form and will be shared with Mega Resistors.
- On clicking the link, user will be navigated to the custom page for Vendor registration form.
- The user needs to fill the data and click submit button.
- On Submitting the form, A vendor record and associated contact records will be created in NetSuite with the data filled in the form.
- And an email will be sent to Administrator/Concerned person regarding the creation of new vendor record.
- For the contact details added in the form, seperate contact records will be created for the vendor with the category any of Purchase/sales/Logistics.
Assumptions
- Mega Resistors need to provide the field mapping prior to development.This mapping should include the mandatory fields and any validations that needs to be applied for the form fields.
- Mega Resistors should share the images (image of checks) that need to be used in the registration form.
- Mega Resistors need to share the email Id of Employee to which the vendor record creation/error message need to be sent.
- We will create test vendor records and sent emails in the Production instance to test the fucntionality of the development.
Limitations
- The custom page for vendor creation will not be the exact replication of given vendor registration form.Different tabs may be used as required to make the form user freindly.
- NetSuite will enforce concurrency limits on Suitelet page.
