The steps taken for configuring flexible sample setup are:
- The Sample rate in the Quality Inspection was configured as 100%. Ensure that the ‘Collect Sample data’ checkbox is marked.

- The Sampling Profile was configured as 100% and labeled ‘Flexible Sampling’.

- No changes were made in the inspection data fields pertaining to the samples inspected.

- The Inspection standard ‘Samples required’ was modified to set the default value as 100%. Usually, when we set the Sample rate in the inspection, the samples required default value is changed to the sample rate.

- The Pass/Fail criteria of ‘Inspection Sampling’ was modified as the client prefers flexibility in sample size selection and does not want it to be restricted. The pass criteria were set as not empty.

- The Item Inspection standard has been reset to 0.

As per the current configuration, the sample size can be entered as per the preference of the client. The sample measurement columns available for recording inspection measurements are set as the Item Receipt’s quantity. In other words, if an IR has 20 quantity, there will be 20 inspection measurement columns in the inspection tablet. However, if the client only wants to have 15 quantity inspected, then 15 measurements can be added and the inspection would still be pass.
- Currently, the QM parameter for the CSV option of importing quality measurement is set at 30. Therefore, for the IR with a quantity less than or equal to 30, the inspection would be manual entering of measurement and for those above 30, the inspection measurement can be imported via CSV.
