Quote PDF Template for Foam Sealant Pty Ltd
Foam Sealant would like to create the Quote PDF template as to be very similar to the Invoice PDF layout
Deliverables
We will provide new custom Quote form which generate print based on the given layout and field mapping. So, the users can generate the print by clicking the standard print button from the Quote record.
Layout will be same as invoice print. Contents on Quote PDF includes the below
- Quotation Number
- Invoice To:
- Deliver To:
- Our Logo, Address, Telephone Number & ABN as per the Invoice PDF, Quality System Logo
- Date
- Terms
- Customer Reference
- Customer Contact
- Product Code, Product Description, Quantity, Per, Rate, Amount
- Sub Total, GST Amount, Total Due
- Quotation Valid one month from date of being created
- Quote prepared by
Assumptions
- The layout and field mapping will be same as Invoice PDF
- The font style and the font size should be the same as the Invoice PDF.
- The date format should be same as in the Invoice sample print
- The amount format is comma-separated.
- In the Invoice print the customer reference is sourced from externalid. But in Quote this field mapping is not available.
- The content “Quotation Valid one month from date of being created” can show on below section of the layout.
- Quote prepared by: We assume that creator of Quote. We can add this content in the mentioned area below
Risks
- We can get data only from the current record and the next join record such as Entity. If any data needs to be populated from record with more than one join/from item record, then that needs to be populated to a custom field on the corresponding transaction by sourcing or scripting. This is not included in the current scope
- The Quote print generated with mentioned contents only when compared with current Invoice print.
