Redesigned Branching and Filter Rules in Celigo (August 2025 Release)

What It Is:

This is a new version of Celigo’s rule editor introduced in the August 2025 release.

It replaces the older logic configuration interface with a cleaner, more visual layout that supports both filters and branching.

The redesigned editor allows users to build complex logic using intuitive tools, which means no scripting required.

Need to Use:

  • To efficiently build and manage complex logic in integration flows, especially when working with multiple conditions, nested rules, or dynamic routing without relying on scripting. This feature is essential for users who want clarity, control, and speed when configuring filters and branches.

Key Benefits:

  • Visual logic grouping: Build logic like stacking blocks—use intuitive operators like AND, OR, and NOT with collapsible condition groups that keep things clean and easy to follow.
  • Searchable operands: Quickly find the fields and values you need from connected apps. The editor automatically scopes by datatype and even supports custom values, so you’re covered even when mock data isn’t available.
  • Drag-and-drop reordering: Rearrange rules and condition groups visually. Just drag, drop, and restructure without worrying about breaking your flow.
  • Reusable actions: Save time by cloning individual rules or entire condition sets. Replicate logic across flows without starting from scratch every time.
  • Unified experience: Whether you’re setting up filters or branches, the same rule editor applies. So, everything feels familiar and consistent.
  • Error-free setup: No scripting required. That means fewer syntax errors and a smoother experience for non-developers.
  • Selective deletion: Delete specific conditions or entire branches while keeping downstream steps intact. Choose which path stays primary and keep your flow running smoothly.

Quick Guide:

  1. Open your integration flow in the Celigo Flow Builder.
  2. Navigate to the Filters or Branching section.
  3. Click “Add Rule” to launch the new visual rule editor.
  4. Use AND / OR / NOT operators to group and structure conditions.
  5. Search for operands using the field search bar.
  6. Drag and drop conditions or groups to reorder logic visually.
  7. Use Clone to reuse rules or condition sets across flows.
  8. To delete, select specific conditions or entire branches.

This redesigned editor empowers users to build smarter, cleaner, and more maintainable flows—especially in complex multi-app integrations.
