Adding a FedEx® account to NetSuite enables us to offer FedEx real-time rates. You must have an active FedEx account to use FedEx real-time rates and integration.
If we have enabled Shipping Label Integration, we can print barcode shipping labels and receive tracking numbers.
To add our FedEx® account:
Go to Setup > Accounting > Shipping.
Check the Charge for the Shipping box.
On the Carrier Registration subtab, click Add FedEx® Account.
On the Carrier Registration subtab, click Add FedEx® Account.
Read the terms of the agreement, and then select I Accept.
If we use the Multiple Location Inventory feature, select the Location to associate this FedEx account with.
We can add a separate FedEx account for each location you operate.
Enter the First Name and Last Name of the person responsible for this FedEx account.
The company name is displayed.
Enter the Department the FedEx account contact person works in.
Enter this Location’s address information:
- Address
- City
- State
- Zip code
- Enter the FedEx account person’s contact information:
- Phone number
- Fax number
- Pager number
- Email address
Select how we want to pass packages to FedEx in the FedEx Dropoff Type field.
Select our shipping label print format in the FedEx Label Type.
If our label stock is perforated select Doctab Location
- None — if there is no physical Doctab
- Top — if the Doctab is at the top of the label
- Bottom — if the doctab is at the bottom of the label
Doctab Location is available for PDF (8-1/2 x 11) label types.
Select how customers pay for receiving deliveries in the FedEx® Collect on Delivery (C.O.D.) Type field.
Enter the FedEx Account Number.
Only nine-digit account numbers can be entered.
If we have a FedEx Ground Economy account, check the box and then select the default hub number provided by FedEx for the location.
Alternatively, to register an account that supports FedEx Ground Economy customer returns by USPS, check FedEx Ground Economy Returns.
Click Submit.
