The requirement was to remove some table columns from sales order print template. While customizing the form it is revealed that the PDF is custom PDF layouts. It is not that easy to customize the template like other advanced print templates does. To remove the body fields or header and footer fields from the custom PDF layouts we can do these steps:
- Customize the transaction form. Go to “Printing fields” subtab.
- In printing fields subtab, we can see the header, footer, columns and body fields. we could also remove the necessary fields from these. Also, can be adjust the width.
in addition to this we can also be able to adjust each table size in the PDF layout by navigating to Customization–>Forms–> Transaction form layouts. Locate out layout then adjust each table width, height etc.
