Replicate Income statement in Saved search

Solution

  1. Go to Lists Search Saved Searches New
  2. Select Transaction
  3. Click Criteria tab
  4. Filter: Add the following:
    • Posting
    • Mark Yes
    • Click Set
    • Account Type
    • Select Cost of Goods SoldIncomeExpenseOther ExpenseOther Income
    • Click Set
  5. Filter: Add Accounting Periods Fields… 
    • Select Start Date
    • Start Date: Select Within
    • From: Set the Start Date of the Accounting Period
    • To: Set the Last Date of the Accounting Period
    • Click Set 
  6. Click Results tab
  7. Click Remove All
  8. Columns:
    • Field: Select Account
    • Summary Type: Select Group
    • Field: Select Amount
    • Summary Type: Select Sum
  9. Click Available Filters tab
  10. FilterAccounting Periods Fields…
    • Select Start Date
    • Mark Show In Filter Region checkbox
  11. Search Title: Enter Name for the Search
  12. Click Save & Run
