We can use two separate release preview environments, one for production account and one for sandbox. This way users can test at their own pace in the production RP and also can turn on all the new features and test new functionality in sandbox RP.
To enable this, we can follow the same procedure. Just go to Setup –> Company –> Release Preview in sandbox and request one.
