Resolve Error: “Error: An unexpected error occurred during this process” when Updating Revenue Plans within Revenue Arrangement record

Solution

Possible Resolution:

See if there is conflict with Auto-Generated Numbers

1. In Global Search, search for Revenue Recognition Plans
2. Click the result Page: Revenue Recognition Plans
3. Quick Sort: Set to Recently Created
4. Take note of the recent revenue plan number (e.g. 32151)
5. Navigate to Setup > Company > Auto-Generated Numbers
6. Click Other tab, set for Revenue Recognition Plan:

• Initial Number: Set the Revenue Plan number 32151
• Allow Override = Set to T
• Click Save

7.Navigate to Transactions > Financial > Update Revenue Arrangements and Revenue Recognition Plans and see if the problem would still persist in generating Revenue Recognition Plans
