Resolve Error: “Error during loading transaction for advanced printing caused by: Attempting to access memorized transaction as non-memorized transaction.”

Trying to print a memorized transaction that have to be processed will give a message: “attempting to access memorized transaction as a non memorized transaction”. Notice that the Transaction number is yet to be generated. Transaction generated from the memorized transaction should be the one printed.

1. Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Customers
2. Click Sales
3. Click Transaction
4. Document Number Column: Click Memorized
5. Click Print
6. Result : “Error during loading transaction for advanced printing caused by: Attempting to access memorized transaction as non-memorized transaction.”

Memorized transactions are just copy of transactions not yet generated. This is a standard behavior.

Note: This is already filed as a defect (Issue #137942 and tagged as Not a bug).

Solution

1. Navigate to Transactions > Other > Enter Memorized Transactions > List

2. Click Enter

    Note: This will create an Invoice.

3. Invoice: Click Print
