When doing CSV Imports to give Contacts access to a Customer’s account, you may encounter the error: Unable to find a matching line for sublist contactroles with key: [contact].
Solution
- Create a CSV file with the following columns:
- Customer ID
- Primary Contact
- Give Access
- Password
- Role
2. Go to Setup > Import/Export >Import CSV Records
3. Scan & Upload CSV File page:
- Import Type: Select Relationships
- Record Type: Select Customers Only
- Select One File To Upload
- Import CSV file
- Click Next
4. Import Options page:
- Data Handling: Select Update
5. Field Mapping page:
- Customer ID = Customer : Customer ID
- Email = Customer Contact Access : Email
- Give Access = Customer Contact Access : Access
- Password = Customer Contact Access : Password
- Role = Customer Contact Access : Role
- Primary Contact = Customer Contact Access : Contact (Set reference type to Internal ID)
6. Name: Enter Import Map Name
7. Click Save & Run
