Resolve Error: “Unable to find a matching line” on CSV Import page

When doing CSV Imports to give Contacts access to a Customer’s account, you may encounter the error: Unable to find a matching line for sublist contactroles with key: [contact].

Solution
  1. Create a CSV file with the following columns:
  • Customer ID
  • Primary Contact
  • Email
  • Give Access
  • Password
  • Role

2. Go to Setup Import/Export >Import CSV Records

3. Scan & Upload CSV File page:

  • Import Type: Select Relationships
  • Record Type: Select Customers Only
  • Select One File To Upload
  • Import CSV file
  • Click Next

4. Import Options page:

  • Data Handling: Select Update

5. Field Mapping page:

  • Customer ID = Customer : Customer ID
  • Email = Customer Contact Access : Email
  • Give Access = Customer Contact Access : Access
  • Password = Customer Contact Access : Password
  • Role = Customer Contact Access : Role
  • Primary Contact = Customer Contact Access : Contact (Set reference type to Internal ID)

6. Name: Enter Import Map Name

7. Click Save & Run
