Resolve Error: You Cannot Receive More Items Than You Shipped for an Intercompany Transfer Order

Scenario

User is encountering error ‘You cannot receive more items than you shipped for an intercompany transfer’. 

Solution

Possible reasons of the error:

1. The transaction is an Intercompany Purchase Order and there is no linked Sales Order yet
2. The linked Sales Order is not yet fulfilled
3. The Item Receipt Date is Earlier than Item Fulfillment Date
4. The Sales Order and the Purchase Order do not contain the same item and details do not match on a line item basis
