Resolve Error: “You Need a Higher Level of the ‘Lists -> Documents and Files’ Permission to Access This Page” on Accessing Associated Images

Scenario

1. Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Items
2. Click Edit
3. Click Web Store
4. Click Associated Images
5. Click an image
6. Error: “Permission Violation: You need a high level of the ‘Lists -> Documents and Files’ permission to access this page. Please contact your administrator.”
7. Note: Custom role has the following permissions:

• Lists > Documents and Files: View or Edit access
• Lists > Items: Full

Solution

1. Login to Administrator Role
2. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
3. Custom Role: Click Edit
4. Click Permissions
5. Click Lists
6. Permission:
7. Note: For every required field use the drop-down menu to select it and once adjusted click Add if needed.

• Select Website (External) publisher
• Note: Set the access Level as desired.

1. Click Add
2. Click Save
