Resolve “ERROR_WRONG_DOMAIN” Upon Editing a Record on Extension Manager

Users may encounter an error message ERROR_WRONG_DOMAIN upon editing an existing record on the Extension Manager page even if the domain is active and available on the Domain Record, it might be that their SSP Application is not linked to the domain.
This can be resolved by linking the domain to an SSP application. 

Solution
  1. Go to Customization > Scripting > SSP Applications
    Note: SSP Application can also be accessed by navigating Commerce > Hosting > SSP Application. 
  2. On the list page, click Edit next to the SSP application to be used on the website
  3. Verify that Supported Touch Points are selected
  4. Click the arrow in the Save button. Choose Save & Link to Domain
    Note: Users will be directed to a Link Domain to SSP Application page.
  5. Select a domain on the Link Domain To SSP Application page
  6. Click Save
