Scenario
The Item Badges throw 404 Page not found when shoppers click on the shopping page. This behavior happens because the custom field: custitem_ef_badges is not added on the SC Configuration.
Solution
- Navigate to Commerce > Websites > Configuration
- Select Website and Domain
- Click Configure
- Go to Shopping Catalog subtab
- Click Facets subtab
- Facets:
Item Field Id: Enter custitem_ef_badges
Name: Enter Badges
Behavior: Enter multi
Template: Enter facets_faceted_navigation_item.tpl
Show Heading: Set True - Click Save
- Go to Commerce > Websites > Website List
- Click Edit next to your website
- Hover-Over Actions link
- Click Rebuild Search Index
Note: A popup message appears stating that there is a limit to the number of times you can request a rebuild of the search index. - Click OK to rebuild the search index for this website
- Navigate to Commerce > Content Management > Cache Invalidation Requests > New
- From the Available Domains list, select one or more domains to perform cache invalidation. Select at least one domain before you proceed.
Note: Use the controls to move domains between the Available Domains box and the Selected Domain box. - Choose the type of operation you wish to perform on the selected domains:
- Clear cache for the whole domain(s) — Clears cache for the whole domain
- Clear cache for the following path(s) — Clears cache for the specified URLs.
If you have selected the Clear cache for the following path(s) option, you must add at least one URL path before you click Submit.
14. Click Submit
