Scenario
There are instances where in visiting the website hosted on NetSuite is loading continuously until it times out. One of the possible cause of this problem is the resources (i.e.: images, stylesheets, JavaScript files) are hosted from a third-party platform that is experiencing downtimes. Problematic files are visible on browser’s console with 404 status codes. In order to resolve this, the resources should me migrated to NetSuite File Cabinet.
Solution
- Navigate to Documents > Files > File Cabinet
- Web Site Hosting Files: Click the link
- Click New Folder
- Folder Name: Enter Name
- Click Save
- Transfer all of the resources from third-party platform to the newly created folder
- Change the path used on the SSP Application/Themes
