A permission Violation error message occurs when trying to attach a file, which isn’t located in your File Cabinet, to an email. There is a solution to this issue, and it involves adjusting the access restrictions of the Attachments Sent folder. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how administrators can resolve this problem:
1. Go to the Documents tab and click on Files, then select File Cabinet.
2. Locate the Attachments Sent folder and click the Edit button next to it.
3. In the Restrict by Fields section, choose the appropriate criteria for restriction. You can select from Class, Department, Location, Subsidiary, or Group.
4. After specifying the criteria, click the Save button to apply the changes.
Now, employees who belong to the selected group (as specified in Step 3) will gain the ability to attach local files to their emails. If you wish to grant this allowance to all users without restrictions, simply clear the values in these fields.
Alternatively, if several departments need this allowance, the administrator can create an Employee Group. To create a new group, go to the Lists tab, choose Relationships, then Groups, and click New. Afterwards, select this group in the Restrict by Group field. By following these steps, you can ensure that attaching local files to emails becomes a hassle-free experience for your users.
