Restrict specific Item List containing the character “PRO” in the line field on Sales Order Forms of a Custom Role
Solution
Navigate to Reports > New Search
Click Item
Click Create Saved Search
Search Title: Enter Title
Criteria
Standard: Filters
Add: Name does not contain PRO
Click Save
Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms
Preferred Sales Order Form: Click Edit
Note: This will be the preferred form of the transaction to be restricted that you need to have a restricted line items selection.
Click Sublist Fields
Item Filter: Select Filtered Items
Add the res.
Click Roles
Note: Select the roles that you want to use this custom transaction form.
Click Save
