Sandbox refresh

The sandbox refreshes will copy data from the production account to the sandbox account. We can also copy data from one sandbox account to another sandbox account. To refresh sandbox, go to “Set up> Company> Sandbox Accounts”.

In the sandbox accounts page, check the name of the sandbox account (some clients may use more than one sandbox account). We can provide an account name suffix for our sandbox account. For example, ABC Co. sandbox account name will be like the “Company name + Account name suffix”. If the company name in NetSuite is “ABC Co.” and we have provided an account name suffix like “SB_2022”, then the name of the sandbox after refresh will be “ABC Co._SB_2022”.

In the “Copy data from” field, select the account (account id) from which we need to refresh the sandbox (if there is more than one sandbox account, we need to confirm the value in this field). Then click on “Refresh Sandbox”. Once the sandbox refresh is completed, then all Administrator users will get an email that the sandbox refresh is completed. So we can activate the sandbox, Before activating the sandbox, we need to take the backup of the works (if any) that had been done in the sandbox. Once the sandbox is activated, it will be the same as the production account.

To activate sandbox, go to “Set up> Company> Sandbox Accounts”. Check the fields of the sandbox we put for refresh. Click the “Activate Sandbox” button. Now the box is the same as the production account or the account from which we had refreshed the sandbox.

Note :- The sandbox refresh will copy only those data in the production account or source account which have been entered till two hours before the sandbox refresh.
