Sandbox Refresh Delayed

When we tried to refresh the sandbox, it is showing the status as “Delayed”. Normally sandbox refreshes will not take more than one day. It may take 5 to 6 hours. But unexpectedly the sandbox refresh took around 4.5 days to complete the refresh.

As part of some internal bug in the Netsuite part, there will be delay in sandbox refreshes. In such situations, we need to wait until the refresh is completed.

The reply from the Netsuite customer support team is added below:

“Here is the Root Cause you requested for issue “xxxxx” > Sandbox Refresh > status shows “Delayed”: A bug in the automation responsible for Sandbox refreshes has resulted in intermittent failures of a critical step in the refresh process. This has resulted in delays. Improvements to the automation are underway to resolve this issue permanently. Until these improvements are implemented, engineers are able to carry out a workaround to ensure these refreshes complete successfully. We take incidents like these extremely seriously, and are constantly improving our monitoring to detect refresh failures so they can be resolved quickly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
