The Blog extension lets you create blog posts for your website using Site Management Tools
(SMT). You can add posts with images, include post excerpts, and organize posts with
categories and tags.
Activating the Blog extension makes four new components available on your site:
Blog Home Page — This page is created as the home page for your blog posts and has
the URL path /blog appended to your website’s URL. This page includes the following
features:
Latest Articles carousel
Featured Articles section
More Articles section
Search feature
Blog Post — This component allows you to add new blog posts using SMT.
Blog Spotlight — This component allows you to add a blog spotlight to draw attention to
several blog posts based on category. This is useful for promoting a new product line,
for example, or any other current topic.
Blog RSS Feed — This component allows you to include your blog’s RSS feed link on your
site, enabling customers to subscribe and follow the latest posts.
Install the bundle: Navigate to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search and Install bundles.
Search and install the bundle SC Blog.
Activate the Extension
Configure the Blog Extension
Use the SuiteCommerce Configuration record to choose how the Blog extension appears on your site. You can determine the blog home page labels, the search behavior, the Latest Articles section appearance, and more.
To configure the Blog extension:
- In NetSuite, go to Commerce > Websites > Configuration.
- Select the website and domain where the Blog extension is activated and click Configure.
- Navigate to the Extensions tab.
- In the Blog subtab, set the following fields then save:

Add a Blog Post
To create a new blog post, add a new page using the Blog Post page type.
To add a blog post:
- Log in to SMT.
- For more information on logging in to SMT.
- In Overview Mode, select the Blog tab.
- Click New Blog Post.
- Set the fields for your blog post.
After creating blog post it needs to publish.
Blog spotlight:
This element can drag into the page where we want to add the post.The content blog spotlight
can drag to where to display.
And there we can give the blogs created according to filter.
