Requirement
The current websites need to be migrated to NetSuite suitecommerce.
The client would like to show specific items to each website. So provide the solution to achieve it in the proposal. Analyze the full website and prepare a quote to redevelop the same in SCA with the above functionality to show specific items/categories in the website.
Proposed Solution
- Design – Jobin & Jismi will use the existing websites as a reference site to build the theme and skin. We shall not create an exact copy of the website as SCA has more features compared to opencart. However, the font-family, color codes would be the exact which represent the company.
- Account – Jobin & Jismi will be doing the development initially on the sandbox account (If you have one) with 3 custom domains. The changes will be moved to production only after the confirmation in the sandbox domain.
- Netsuite Access – Jobin & Jismi will need 2 access to the SB before the development starts and a production access to move the development to production. We would create customers, orders and other related transactions from the website for test purposes.
- Bundle Installation – Jobin & Jismi will install the required bundles in production for SCA and will initiate a sandbox refresh to move all the existing bundles and data from production to sandbox.
- Domain – Jobin & Jismi will add 3 custom domains in the sandbox for the development purpose. Once the SB site is verified the website will be migrated to following:

- Secure Domain – We will use the automatic certificate option from Netsuite for the domain to make the website secure. The automatic certification is only applicable to 1 domain, for the other 2 domains we would provide you CSR files
- Commerce Catalog and Commerce Category– Growire group shall provide the details (CSV file preferred ) for creating the commerce category. We would create a custom field which will be used to recognize the category to be shown in which all websites
- Items – Assuming that Growire Group already has items imported, the items need to be added to the categories, we prefer a csv file with item id and category to which the item should be mapped. We create a custom field in item record to classify the item based on the websites to show the item in.
- Images – All images need to be named and uploaded by Growire Group in the new name convention which will be provided by Jobin & Jismi so that it displays properly in the website. All the item and category images will be provided by Growire Group.
- Header, Footer – Top header Bar will include Home(Logo will act as Home page link), categories, search, mini cart and social logins. The footer will be similar to the existing websites
- Payment gateway: Similar to the current website, SCA would be having debit/credit card payment and paypal. EFT is not an option in SCA. Growire Group shall subscribe to a payment processing profile provided by NetSuite (eway, cybersource, payu are some of the profiles NetSuite offers).
- Shipping Method – Different shipping items to be created in Netsuite with different rules. The shipping method can be of flat rates or real time rates. NetSuite provides real time rates for FedEx, UPS, USPS
- My account – My account section will have all the options as the current website has. Addition to it the customer will be able to create online cases for product inquiry, return and complaint/suggestions, they will be able to view account balance, credit memo details if enabled, Invoice, return details
- Email templates and PDF – We will create new templates and PDF to match or we could use the existing templates.
- Category/Item Hide extension – We would create custom field (multi-select) in category and item record to show the items and categories based on condition
- Social-media Signup: We will create an extension which would enable the social media login which will increase the user experience
- Checkout extension: We will create an extension which enables the user to add comment in sales order via checkout
- CMS Pages – Jobin & Jismi IT Services will create the below landing pages in the website.

Assumptions
- Jobin & Jismi will provide a user guide after the website is developed. It will have the details explaining the way to manage the site.
- Growire Group has to provide details on how their shipping calculation works to create the shipping items within NetSuite
- Growire Group has to provide details on how the working of GDPR data
- Growire Group will provide us the images as a .zip file for bulk upload
Project Execution Process
- As the proposal is accepted, the client will share all the documents or files or required credentials or access associated with the project.
- A project manager will be introduced to the client who will be the point of contact for the client throughout the SDLC.
- The project manager will schedule a kick-off call to discuss the entire project scope and get clarification on all the queries.
- Soon after the kick-off call within a working day time, the project manager will revert with the project plan. We will be following the Agile methodology for development.
- We as the company use Jira as the project management tool. In case, the client would like to use any equivalent tool then we are open for that.
- Regular meetings will be scheduled with the client and keep the client updated with the project progress.
- The client will be provided with the test release as per the project plan and expect to revert with the feedback so that it can be incorporated in the upcoming sprint.
