Supply chain snapshots analyze whether the inventory levels meet demand or planned levels and it helps to match requests with available supply. A supply chain snapshot simulation of a transaction lets us determine what effect that transaction would have on our inventory if we implemented it. We can create a supply snapshot and refresh it manually.
First, create a saved search of items that we want to schedule. (Item search)
Navigation
List> Supply chain> Supply chain Snapshot Schedule> New
- Enter name and description
- Select the item saved search (select the previously created saved search from the field)
- Select a Recurrence Frequency, Daily or Weekly.
- Select how often you want the refresh to occur from the repeat every dropdown list.
- Enter the Next Date and Next time when you want the snapshot to be generated
- click save
