Scheduled email serves a regular update on the saved search results. Saved search results mailed according to the scheduled and also gives alerts when there is any add or update. it can be sent from search owners email address, or default address as company preferred. and also we can customize the content on the message tab.
Navigation to saved search
1. Reports > saved search > All saved search > new
2. Select the search type. ( for example: Transactions)
3. Set criteria
4. Set the results that you want to sent through the mail
5. In the email subtab,
a) enable the Send Emails According to Schedule option
b) To set up the schedule for sending emails, click the Schedule subtab.
i) Select the interval at which you would like to email the search results like whether it is daily, single, monthly event,etc, time and end time.
c) To specify recipients by user name and/or group name, click the Specific Recipients subtab.
d) To target recipients based on values of search results fields, click the Recipients from Results subtab.
i) check send on update, for updated result send
ii) check show recent changes
e)To customize email message text, click the Customize Message subtab.
i) In the From field, enter the sender’s name and email address.
ii) In the Subject field, enter optional custom text.
iii) In the Introduction field, enter optional custom text to appear before search results
iv) Select an option button to indicate whether search results should be: text message, attached as a .csv or .xls file.
6. Click save and email.
