Search for Sales Orders with multiple invoices

To create a saved search in NetSuite to get the count of invoices related to a sales order, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Saved Searches:
  2. Go to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New.
  3. Select the Search Type:
  4. Choose Transaction as the search type since you are dealing with sales orders and invoices.
  5. Criteria Tab:
  6. Under the Criteria tab, add the filters to narrow down your search to the specific transactions (sales orders and invoices).
  7. Filter: Type
  8. Value: is Invoice
  9. Filter: Main Line
  10. Value: is True (to ensure you are only counting the main line of invoices)
  11. Filter: Created From Type
  12. Value: Sales Order
  13. Results Tab:
  14. Under the Results tab, configure the columns to display the information you need.
  15. Field: Created From
  16. Summary Type: Group
  17. Field: Internal ID
  18. Summary Type: Count
  19. Sorting/Additional Filters (Optional):
  20. If you need to sort or further filter your results, you can add additional criteria or sort options.
  21. Save and Run the Search:
  • Click Save & Run to save the search and display the results.
