Set up location-based tax rates

Many countries charge taxes based on an order’s destination, which means it will depend on the region and where your product delivered

1. Confirm that your store address is not in a region that uses registration-based taxes, and that you have set up a shipping zone for the destination country.
2. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Taxe
3. In the Tax regions section, click the name of the country.
4. In the Base taxes section, enter the rates that apply in the country and any regions. You can choose whether a tax in a region is used.
5. Click Save.
