Set up Options for CSC (Card Security Code) for Credit Card Processing

If you want your website to be secured in terms of online transactions. It is mandatory to set this settings in order to avoid fraudulent orders from occurring. 

Solution

Enabling Use Card Security Code for Credit Card Transactions will add a Card Security Code (CSC) field to sales orders (Billing tab) and sales made through your Web store. CSC numbers are 3 or 4 digit numbers, usually provided on the back of the credit card.

1. Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences > Items/Transactions Tab > Payment Processing section.
3. Tick the checkbox for Use Card Security Code for Credit Card Transactions.

To verify Online Payment in the Web Site, the following preference should be enabled:

1. Navigate to Setup > Site Builder > Set Up Web Site > Edit > Shopping tab > Shopping Basics section.
2. Tick the checkbox for Process an Online Payment with Sales Order Creation.
