Setting the Default Email Sender for Customer Statements

Currently, NetSuite’s “Email Preferences” offer only three options for the email sender for customer statements. No default email address can be specified. However, you have the following options:

  1. Set Preferences – Each user can update their Set Preferences to meet email-sending requirements individually.
  2. Customization Option – To set a specific sender for statements, a customized button can be added to customer records, enabling controlled emailing with a chosen sender.
  3. Bulk Email Customization – For bulk emailing, NetSuite defaults to the “From Address for Emailed Forms” in Email Preferences. Customization could provide a default sender email for bulk statement emailing, which may require advanced scripting.
