Setting up Sales Territories

Sales territories are the grouping of leads, prospects and customer details based on the sales rules. In NetSuite sales territories are defined before they are distributed to different sales rep, sales groups, and sales teams.

Steps

Go to Setup> Sales> Sales Territories> New

On the sales territories page, enter a name of the territory on the name field

Add a short description inside the description field

Select if this rule will “Match All Rules” or “Match Any Rules”

On the configure Rule subtab, select the areas to which this rule will be applied, and then click add

Assign the customers to a sales Rep by going to the lead assignment subtab, select a sales rep on the dropdown list, and click add.

 Finally, Click Save.
