Requirement
The client would like to develop a SCA website using the latest SCA version 2021.1.1 with new design (without using the existing bundles from AVT). All the existing functionality should be present in the new website.
Proposed Solution
- Design – Jobin & Jismi will be responsible for creating and providing the designs for the website. The client can let us know their expectations or we would create a similar ui as of the current website. Jobin & Jismi will submit the wireframe and after the approval of the wireframes, the design will be started. Jobin & Jismi will provide all the design assets along with the design. - Account – Jobin & Jismi will be doing the development initially on the sandbox account with a custom domain. The changes will be moved to production only after the confirmation in the sandbox domain.
- Netsuite Access – Jobin & Jismi will use the existing NetSuite access for the development in Sandbox. However, we need 1 more access in production when we start to migrate the work from SB to production. We would create customer, orders and other related transactions from the website for test purposes.
- Bundle Installation – Jobin & Jismi will install the required bundles in production for SCA and will initiate a sandbox refresh to move all the existing bundles and data from production to sandbox.
- Domain – Jobin & Jismi will add a custom domain in sandbox for the development purpose. Once the SB site is verified the website will be migrated to https://www.transquip.co.nz/
- Secure Domain – We will use the automatic certificate option from Netsuite for the domain to make the website secure.
- Commerce Catalog and Commerce Category– Jobin & Jismi will create the commerce catalog and commerce categories for the website. The commerce categories will be having the same hierarchy of the current website. The main category would be products. Under products we will have a Civil construction site, vehicle workshop equipments and so on or if you tend to change this we could help you with it
- Items – The existing items in Netsuite will be used in the website. The items will be mapped to corresponding commerce categories. The name, description, url, price, images etc for each item will be displayed based on the data stored in Netsuite.
- Images – All the existing item related images need to be renamed by Trasquip in the new format provided by Jobin & Jismi so that it displays properly in the website. All the item and category images will be provided by Trasquip. Design related images, banners etc will be used by Jobin and Jismi.
- Header – Top header Bar will include Home(Logo will act as Home page link), About us, Products, Contact us, Testimonials, News, Blogs, etc
- Pricing – The prices in the website will work as in the current site, the price shown for customers will be online/list price and for logged in customers it would be customer level pricing. We would also show the the matrix item price range
- Add to cart – We would create an extension which enables the user to add items to cart directly from PLP, the user would be able to select the matrix options from the PLP
- Payment gateway: Since the sitebuilder already has ezyway setup done, we could use the same for SCA
- Shipping Method – Different shipping items to be created in Netsuite with different rules which can be discussed and pick up from location can be shipping method as in the current website
- Product inquiry – We will create an extension to display the product inquiry button in PLP and PDP based on condition. The admin will be able to receive an email whenever the user submits a product inquiry.
- Blogs – We will install the SC Blog extension which is provided by Suitecommerce, this extension will help us to build the blog page in a new way which is easy to maintain
- My account – The my account section will have all the option as the current website has. Addition to it the customer will be able to create online cases for product inquiry, return and complaint/suggestions
- Email templates and PDF – We will create new templates and PDF to match with new website design or we could use the existing templates.
- CMS Pages – Jobin & Jismi IT Services will create the below landing pages in the website.

- Contact us
Which will be easy to maintain and Transquip can make change whenever they wish to. If required we will create additional landing pages
Assumptions
- Jobin & Jismi will provide a user guide after the website is developed. It will have the details explaining the way to manage the site.
- Transquip has to provide details on how their shipping calculation works to create the shipping items within NetSuite
- Transquip has to provide details on how the product inquiry form is displayed in website, is it on conditional basis or the inquiry button appears for all items under a certain category
- Transquip will add images to the Live hosting files based on the naming convention which will be provided in a later stage
- AVT bundles can be removed. However, some scripts which are not a part of the bundle will be still present in the Transquip account as it has dependency
