Shipping FAQs - Account – Since there is no sandbox given, Jobin & Jismi will be doing the development initially in a test domain on the production account with a custom SSP. The changes will be moved to production live domain only after the confirmation in the test domain of the production account. So Jobin & Jismi will create a custom SSP with a test domain in the production if using SCA. No custom SSP will be created, if SuiteCommerce Standard is purchased.
- Netsuite Access – CGS has to provide a minimum of 2 Netsuite access in production so that Jobin & Jismi could assign multiple resources on the development. Jobin & Jismi will also create customer accounts on the website for the development purpose.
- Bundle Installation – Jobin & Jismi will install the possible bundles in the production account.

- Domain – Jobin & Jismi will add a test domain in production for the development purpose. We will create a new SCA website and the test domain will be linked with it. After the confirmation we will link the live domain with the newly created SCA website.
- Secure Domain – We will use the automatic certificate option from Netsuite for the domain to make the website secure.
- Theme and Extensions: We will be using the suitecommerce base theme and theme based changes will do by customizing the theme.
The functionalities other than the default existing functionality need to do by extension. - Design: Jobin & Jismi will submit a design based on the reference domain given by CGS. The contents of the website can be suggested by CGS. Based on the Suite Commerce theme we choose, we need images and contents for the entire website, like images for the home page, footer contents, landing pages if any, etc. CGS can share if they have any preferred images or contents to be displayed.
- As per the given details, CGS needs the design similar to the design of domain “xyz”
- When we checked the reference domain, they are using more customizations and some of the customization need more effort and time.
- For example, the login page, when the user clicks in the login page, the page will show popup in that page itself and the user can give the username and password to login where as in SCA if the user clicks on the login button, the user will redirect to the other page and in that page both login and register section will be showing.
If any changes needs other than the existing functionality SCA we need to do customizations.
- Customers/Users: In SCA, users can register or login from the website.
Email messages and confirmations will be sent to the user when he/she registers first. As the customer will be created in NetSuite when we register from the webstore, the customer can login to the website at any time using the email and password. - Commerce Catalog and Commerce Category– Jobin & Jismi will check the existing categories in the account, existing categories need to be exported and imported as commerce categories and show them in the header section under the tab while hovering on it. The main category image will be displayed in the header dropdpwn of the website.
- Items – The existing items in Netsuite will be used in the website. The items will be mapped to corresponding commerce categories by Jobin & Jismi by referring the existing site categories. The existing webstore related fields and date used in SiteBuilder will be used in Suitecommerce as well.
If any new fields or data needs to be displayed in the Suitecommerce website, then CGS needs to fill the data and share the same with Jobin & Jismi. Jobin and Jismi will then import these details to display in the website. The name, description, url, price, images etc for each item will be displayed based on the data stored in Netsuite.
- Website Images – Design related images, banners, icons, etc will be used by Jobin and Jismi itself. If CGS prefer to use own images, it can be used. All images needs to stored in the images folder of the SSP application used for the website. TIFF, JPEG, PNG, JPG, and BMP are all common formats, although JPG is the most prevalent.
- Item Images – All the existing item related images need to be provided by CGS in the new format provided by Jobin & Jismi so that it displays properly in the website. Here our image path is “ Web Site Hosting Files : Live Hosting Files : CGS website item images” and the IMAGE NAME FORMAT is “[Item Name/Number]_{Category 1}.{Category 2}.[EXT] “
For example: BSG77633D_Medium.Orange.Pack 12 Pairs.jpg
Here item name is BSG77633D
category 1 is Medium –size
category 2 is Orange –color
category 3 is Pack 12 Pairs –package
EXT used here is jpg
All the item and category images will be provided by CGS. All item images need to be in the same size. TIFF, JPEG, PNG, JPG, and BMP are all common formats, although JPG is the most prevalent.
The current item images must be moved from the current folder to a new folder in live hosting files and should be renamed so that they could be displayed under the associated image. - Header section: In the current domain, header section contains both checkout and myaccount button .
- In the current domain,if the user click on the checkout button in the header it will redirect to the checkout page. But as per the standard working of SCA, the user can go to the checkout page either by clicking “checkout” button in the cart or by clicking the “checkout” button in the minicart. If the checkout button needed in the button, then we need to customize it by using extension.
- In the current domain,if the user click on the myaccount button in the header it will redirect to the myaccount page. But as per the standard working of SCA, while clicking on the dropdown arrow near to the name, it will display the myaccount section and the user can select the section which they prefer to go. If this hovering not needed then we need to customize it.
- Landing Pages –We are considering the below landing pages for the website and these pages will be developed by using CMS. The content for the page need to share by CGS or else we can use the existing contents. If new pages required, please share the name and content.

If customer accounts include any custom specific price level, then that price will be displayed or else online price will be displayed.
- Price Level – The existing price levels in NetSuite will be displayed in website. If the customers have an assigned price level, they could see the prices in website based on that.
- Quantity Pricing – If NetSuite item includes quantity level pricing, then it will be reflected in the website as well.

- Item Stock and out-of-stock Behaviour – The item stock behaviour is set as default in NetSuite for items. So the out of stock items will be available for purchase in Suitecommerce website. We can set the behaviour for out of stock items by making changes in the item record and in the configuration record if needed.
- Myaccount pages – The standard/available my account pages of Suitecommerce will be displayed.
- Quick View – Customers can get the quick view of an item in the PLP. The brief details of product can be get from quickview section and the user can add the item to the cart or wishlist as desired. Color and theme can be make match with the current theme.
- PLP page: Since we are using the commerce categories in the SCA websites, there will be additional feature of “facets”. The users can filter the items of the PLP page based on the criteria’s given in the commerce categories.
If the filter option not needed then we need to achieve it by using customization.
In SCA, the quantity can be updated from the PLP page by using quickview. But as per the current functionality we need to give an option for quantity and the item need to be added to the cart with desired quantity and item options. So thus need customization for this.
If the review section is not needed in PLP page, then we need to hide it. - PDP page: In the PDP page, the detail of corresponding item will describe along with the related items. There is an additional customization in the current domain of “tell a friend” Option.
“Tell a friend” Functionality need to implement by using extension. Kindly explain its functionality.
If the review section is not needed in PDP page, then we need to hide it. - Wishlist in PDP page: In SCA, we have a default option called “Wishlist” the users can add the items to the Wishlist, and they can buy the item in future whenever they need. We used to add” add to Wishlist” button in the PDP page.
If the wishlist option is not needed then we need to achieve it by using customization.
- Related products in the PDP page: The related products need to be show in the PDP page. As per the default fetaures, we can avail it. The related products list need to be shared by CGS
- Recently Viewed Items: “Recently viewed section” will be available in the cart page.”
- Minicart section: The users can get a brief description of items in the cart. This minicart section helps the user to get the cart item details without moving to the cart page.
Color and theme can be make match with the current theme. - Allow users to request a Quote from Webstore
Request a Quote feature can be added in the website if required. Customers can request a quote if the sufficient permissions to request a quote online are enabled. - Display Newsletter-Signup
If needed then we can add newsletter-subscription section in the website.
- Checkout Configuration: The checkout page section is consisting of 4 sections.
In SCA we can have the checkout page as either “single page” checkout or “standard(3 page)” checkout. Since the current domain having multipage checkout, we can go with the “standard-(3 page)” checkout.
Page 1: shipping address (contains shipping address and delivery method)
Page 2: payment
Page 3: review
The other customization related to this page need to do by extension.
