Smart Count Enhancements

Smart Count SuiteApp version 4.0.0 includes the following enhancements:

The Smart Count SuiteApp now lets you perform the following actions:

• Scan GS1 bar codes when counting inventory items, lot numbered items, and serialized items. This feature is available only for WMS users.
• Select a count configuration to display items on the task list based on the selected value. Use the new Count Configuration field on the following pages on the mobile app:
  • Task List
  • Counted Items
  • Complete All Counts
  This field lists all active count configurations, inactive count configurations, and spot counts.
• View the counted items on the Counted Items page on the Smart Count mobile app.
• Filter item count records for count review based on inventory classification, vendor, and class. The Primary Filters section on the Smart Count Review page now includes the following filters:
  • Class
  • Inventory Classification
  • Vendor
• Include bins with zero quantity of an item on the task list. The count configuration record now includes the Count Bins with Zero Quantity box.
• Update the next inventory count date for spot counts. The Smart Count Preferences page now includes the Set Next Inventory Count Date for Spot Count preference.
• Access the Smart Count mobile app from Inventory > Smart Count > Mobile App when using the Smart Count Counter and Smart Count Inventory Manager roles.
• Approve item count records even when the following fields are marked as Required for an inventory adjustment transaction:
  • Class
  • Department
  • Location
• Select the following options when counting different items from the same bin:
  • Complete All – This option lets you complete count for all items counted from the bin.
  • Complete Selected – This option lets you complete count only for the item selected for count.
• Update the inventory count interval and next inventory count date using the Mass Update feature. The Mass Update page now includes the following fields:
  • Inventory Count Interval
  • Next Inventory Count Date
  • Inventory Location
  To update the inventory count interval and next inventory count date, you must select the inventory location on the Mass Updates page. If you do not specify the inventory location, the SuiteApp updates the next inventory count date and inventory count interval for items across all locations.

Smart CountSuiteApp version 3.0.4 includes the following enhancements:

• When approving item counts, the SuiteApp now creates inventory adjustments even if the Adjustment Location field on an inventory adjustment record is blank.
• Setting the next inventory count date on an item record is no longer required when creating a custom saved search.
• The Counted By field in on the Smart Count Review page now lists all the users who have performed item counts.
