While doing CSV import, Netsuite flip the GST/QST/PST/RST (tax amounts) to an auto calculated amount based on the tax rate set up in the accounting software and therefore the tax amount originally entered is changed (if it doesn’t match the software’s auto calculation) and these tax amounts that got changed no longer match the source document.
Due to these amounts changing on paid and unpaid bills and sales invoices; this opens the door potential errors in payment amounts made by customers to us and us to vendors until this problem is fixed. Therefore once the import is completed all these tax amounts that got changed from the actual amount showing on the bill or invoice have to be changed back manually to the actual tax amount showing on the source document.
