Strike-Through Pricing Support for Matrix Items

With the 2023.1 release, the Strike-Through Pricing feature will apply to matrix items as well as non-matrix items.

Strike-Through Pricing compares a customer’s configured price level to the default price level set in the SuiteCommerce Configuration Record’s Shopping Catalogue tab. If the customer’s price level is lower than the default price level, the item pricing on your website shows a strike through the higher default price and the lower customer price next to it.

After you enable the Strike-Through Pricing feature on your website, the discounted price appears on the Product Listing Page (PLP) and Product Details Page (PDP) for all items, including matrix items. Next to the discount price is a strikethrough of the original price.

To verify Strike-Through-Pricing is enabled:

1. In NetSuite, go to Commerce > Websites > Configuration.
2. Select your website and domain and click Configure.
3. Go to the Shopping Catalog tab.
4. Confirm the Enable Strike-Through Behavior box is checked.
5. Check the Enable Strike-Through Behavior box if it is not checked.
6. Click Save.

To verify the default price level is set:

1. In NetSuite, go to Commerce > Websites > Configuration.
2. Select your website and domain and click Configure.
3. Go to the Shopping Catalog tab.
4. Confirm the Default Price Level field is set to pricelevel1.
5. Enter pricelevel1 in the Default Price Level field if it is not already there.
6. Click Save.
