Supply Allocation > Order Management Dashboard is Missing

If this scenario happens, users should verify if both the Supply Allocation feature and the Sales Channel Allocation features are enabled on the account.

The Sales Channel Allocation feature should also be enabled to be able to have the Order Management Dashboard link under Transactions > Order Management.The Sales Channel Allocation feature enables you to do the following:

  • Define sales channel records to represent your organization’s multi-channel sales hierarchy.
  • Select sales channels you have defined for sales orders and other order to cash transactions that use sales channels.
  • Use sales orders with a designated channel for sales reporting, allocation exception reporting, selective batch allocation, and batch re-allocation.
  • Enter order reservations for each sales channel.

This feature won’t affect any other features or performance if not used, but it is a prerequisite in order to use Order Management Dashboard. You could easily disable the Sales Channel Allocation if you don’t set-up any Sales Channel.To enable this feature:

  1. Navigate thru Setup > Company > Enable Feature.
  2. Items and Inventory > Sales Channel Allocation = T

You may opt not to use any Sales Channel. You would only be enabling the feature to be able to see the Order Management Dashboard thru Transactions Order Management > Order Management Dashboard.
