The NetSuite 2023.1 Supply Planning (MRP) feature includes the following enhancements:
■ Define a Workday Calendar by Location
NetSuite Supply Planning 2023.1 enables you to use the Workday Calendar feature with Supply
Planning (MRP) locations. By applying a work calendar to a specific location, you can define which days
of the week are working days and which are non-working days. For example, weekends or holidays.
This enhancement enables the Supply Planning engine to identify a defined workday calendar. The
process creates a plan to calculate lead times, start planned work orders, or reschedule existing work
orders within the context of the calendar.
■ Lot Sizing Options
You can control lot sizing when the required quantity is greater than one iteration of the specified lot
size. In the Item Location Configuration page, Planning subtab, from the Supply Lot Sizing list, select a
Fixed Lot Size or a Fixed Lot Multiple option.
Select Fixed Lot Size when you need multiple individual work orders of the specified lot size.
Select Fixed Lot Multiple when you need one work order that is equal to a multiple of the specified
quantity.
■ Lead Time Offset
The new Leadtime Offset field enables you to extend lead-time for an item and location. Enter a leadtime amount into this field to account for any required post-fulfillment activity before the quantity is
available for use. For example, handling time or quality inspection.
