Issue: We have a shipping item with shipping cost of $15. On the checkout page the shipping method is displayed with the shipping cost of $15. When we select the shipping method, the shipping cost will be added to the total amount. But the tax for the shipping cost is not added.
The tax for the shipping cost (which is calculated based on the tax schedule setup on the account) is not added within the total amount. only the tax for the items (where we have used the same tax schedule) is calculated.
Solution:
Check the SCRIPTING TEMPLATE selected on the website. Instead of using the custom template select the standard template on website.
- Commerce > Websites > website List
- Under the Setup subtab, choose the scripting template as standard
