The Changing Role of HR

The last few years have experienced an important transformation in the position of HR, pushed on by a number of factors including globalization, technological improvements, and changing employee expectations. Data is being used by HR professionals to measure employee engagement, track performance, and highlight areas that need improvement. In addition, HR is placing more of an emphasis on creating a diverse and inclusive workplace by putting in place practices and policies that support diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as by tracking outcomes and making the necessary modifications.
