Problem: We were encountering an issue where after a theme deployment, activation, and Cache Invalidation Request, we were seeing that some of the theme files weren’t appearing on the site immediately. This issue was domain specific, as we tested with a different domain in the same NetSuite environment and did not have this issue.
Solution: This seemed to be caused by a stale CDN Cache that wouldn’t clear after a Cache invalidation. See solution steps below:
- Navigate to the Website Record Domains (Commerce-> Websites-> Website List → Select Website-> Domains)
- Edit the applicable Domain and disable the “Use CDN Cache” and wait several hours
- Enable the “Use CDN Cache” and wait several hours
- Make a theme deployment and check if it works. If so then the issue is resolved
