When the user opens the trial balance report, the following error shows.
“The accounting period range This Period has not been defined. Please visit ‘Setup > Accounting > Manage Accounting Periods’ to define this period or set up your year.”
Solution –
1. Go to Home > Set Preferences
2. Go to Analytics tab
3. Change Report By Period from ‘Financial’ to Never
4. Click Save
If financials are selected, then the financial reports will be reported by period. And if in the account, the accounting periods are not setup for the current period, then this error will be displayed.
