Issues
I will get an error while saving the time entry in UI or in the script. I have verified that the time entry is billable and the time entries are “Unbilled”. The error message is listed below,
“type”:”error.SuiteScriptError”,”name”:”TIME_ENTRY_DISALLWD”,”message”:”P&L Test Project does not allow time entry.”
Solution
I have found the reason for the issue, In the project record there is a checkbox field called “ALLOW TIME ENTRY” and If the Allow Time Entry is checked, the project appears only in the Customer/Project dropdown for resources listed on the Resource tab of the project. We are also not able to edit or update the existing time entry where the corresponding project’s “allow time entry” is unchecked. We can check this box for updating the time entry.
