Transferring an Employee Record from One Subsidiary to Another

Scenario

A user can no longer change the Subsidiary in the Employee record if the employee is linked in the following transactions: Commission, Expense Report, Journal, Requisition
Subsidiary can still be changed in the Employee record if the employee is linked in the following transactions: Blanket Purchase Order, Purchase Order, Transfer Order, Cash Refund, Cash Sale, Estimate, Invoice, Opportunity, Return Authorization, Sales Order, Work Order

Solution
User can inactivate the existing one and create a new Employee record to reflect this change.
Edit the old Employee record.
Navigate to Lists > Employees > Employees
Click Edit
Name: Add the word (old) or (inactive) after the Last Name
E-mail Address: Remove the existing e-mail address
Click Access
Give Access: Remove checkmark
Click System Information
Inactive: Enter checkmark
Click Save

b. Creating a new Employee record under the new Subsidiary.
Navigate to Lists > Employees > Employees > New
Populate all mandatory fields. Copy previous employee data and make changes in Subsidiary as needed.
Click Save
