Scenario
User is unable to send email from Record > Communication > Email. Receiving error “Exception during message creation. Caused by: com.netledger.common.exceptions.NLUserError: Template not found” when selecting a PDF template under Email > Attachments > Attach Document Template.
Error is caused by missing attachment on the saved template.
Solution
- Log in as an Administrator
- Note: Take note of the PDF template being selected in Attach Document Template
- Navigate to Documents > Templates > PDF Templates
- PDF template with issue: Click Edit
- Click Template tab
- File: Select pdf file
- Click Save
- Note: If the file is not listed under File dropdown and needs to be re-upload.
- File: Click + icon
- Click Choose File
- Select file
- Click Save
- Click Save
