Unable to Send Email When Adding a PDF Template Through Attach Document Template. Error Exception During Message Creation

Scenario

User is unable to send email from Record > Communication > Email. Receiving error “Exception during message creation. Caused by: com.netledger.common.exceptions.NLUserError: Template not found” when selecting a PDF template under Email > Attachments > Attach Document Template.

Error is caused by missing attachment on the saved template.

Solution
  1. Log in as an Administrator
  2. Note: Take note of the PDF template being selected in Attach Document Template
  3. Navigate to Documents Templates PDF Templates
  4. PDF template with issue: Click Edit
  5. Click Template tab
  6. File: Select pdf file
  7. Click Save
  8. Note: If the file is not listed under File dropdown and needs to be re-upload.
  9. File: Click + icon
  • Click Choose File
  1. Select file
  2. Click Save
  3. Click Save
