Update Department Body and Line Fields for Item Fulfillment Transactions Using Scheduled Workflow

There are cases when users would like to automatically update the value for the Department body field and line field in Item Fulfillment Transactions. 

Solution

  1. Create a Saved Search to filter which transactions must be updated
  2. Navigate to Lists Search Saved Searches New
  3. Click Transaction
  4. Search Title: Enter Saved Search 1
  5. Click Criteria
  6. Click Standard
  7. Filter:
  • Select Type
  • Description: Select Any of
  • Select Item Fulfillment
  • Click Set
  1. Click Save

  3. Create a Scheduled Workflow
  4. Navigate to Customization Workflow Workflows New
  5. Basic Information:
  • Name: Enter Workflow 1
  • Record Type: Select Transaction
  • Sub Type: Select Item Fulfillment
  • Execute As Admin: Enter Checkmark
  • Release Status: Select Released
  • Keep Instance and History: Select Always
  • Enable Logging: Enter Checkmark
  1. Initiation: Select Scheduled
  2. Schedule:
  • Saved Search Filter: Select Saved Search 1
  • Repeat: Enter Checkmark
  • Frequency: Select Every 30 minutes
  1. Click Save
  2. Click State 1
  3. Bottom Right Corner: Click New Action
  4. Click Set Field Value
  5. Basic Information:
  • Trigger On: Select Entry

  • Field: Select Department
  • Value: Select Static Value
  • Selection: Select Department

  2. Double Click State 1
  3. Click New Sublist Group
  4. Basic Information:
