NetSuite 2023.2 includes an update to the default unit on the following transactions: bin transfer and inventory status change
What is Changing?
Defaulting in the Units column will be changed for the following inventory transactions:
- Bin Transfer
- Inventory Status Change
Currently, these transactions assign the base unit to each item that you add. In NetSuite 2023.2, the primary stock unit that you select on the item record will be used as the default unit.
Recommended Action
If you have customizations that reference units on the affected inventory transactions, please make the necessary modifications. You can test your updated customizations in Release Preview before your scheduled NetSuite account upgrade.
