NetSuite provides a two-factor authentication (2FA) feature to enhance the security of user logins, users can generate a QR code for two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security to their account logins.
One of the ways to use 2FA in NetSuite is by generating a QR code that can be scanned using a smartphone or tablet to obtain a temporary security token. This token is then entered into NetSuite to complete the authentication process.
If the login credentials for a NetSuite account are updated, the authentication QR code will also need to be updated to reflect the new credentials. To update the QR code,
- Users need to generate a new code by clicking on the “Reset Token” button in NetSuite,
- Need to scan the new QR code using their smartphone or tablet.
- Need to enter the token into NetSuite to complete the authentication process.
By keeping the authentication QR code up-to-date, users can help to protect their NetSuite accounts from unauthorized access and potential security breaches.
