Updating Authentication QR Code for NetSuite Login

NetSuite provides a two-factor authentication (2FA) feature to enhance the security of user logins, users can generate a QR code for two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security to their account logins.

One of the ways to use 2FA in NetSuite is by generating a QR code that can be scanned using a smartphone or tablet to obtain a temporary security token. This token is then entered into NetSuite to complete the authentication process.

If the login credentials for a NetSuite account are updated, the authentication QR code will also need to be updated to reflect the new credentials. To update the QR code,

  1. Users need to generate a new code by clicking on the “Reset Token” button in NetSuite,
  2. Need to scan the new QR code using their smartphone or tablet.
  3. Need to enter the token into NetSuite to complete the authentication process.

By keeping the authentication QR code up-to-date, users can help to protect their NetSuite accounts from unauthorized access and potential security breaches.
