In NetSuite, within the Employee Center, viewing, creating, and maintaining job-related information is possible. Tasks and events can be created, and both purchase requests and expense reports can be submitted, with the ability to monitor the approval status of each. If time tracking is utilized, time can be entered on a daily or weekly basis.
To input a weekly timesheet:
- On the Employee Center – Home Links portlet, beneath Time Tracking, select Weekly Timesheet.
- If needed, in the Date or Week Of field, choose a different date.
- Choose a name from the Customer field.
- Choose Tasks, Cases, or Events if needed.
- If this time is billable, mark the Billable box.
- In the Service Item field, choose the item that best describes the work done during this time.
- If your company monitors departments, classes, or locations, choose the appropriate information.
- Input a memo if required.
- In the columns for each day of the week, input the total hours worked for this customer and service item. For instance, input 8:00 for eight hours worked.
- Click Add and repeat the steps for other customers.
- Click Save.
