To make the Toolfetch website ADA compliant. ADA compliant website refers to a site that conforms to the accessibility standards outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ensuring equal access and usability for individuals with disabilities.
To make the website ADA compliant we add a widget to the website which is going to make the website meet all the ADA compliance requirements without making any major changes to the existing codes.
A script provided by the widget provider will be added to the body of the website to make the widget functional. The code will be updated accordingly to implement this feature.
To implement the widget feature we need to add a script provided by the widget provider into the body of Toolfetch website.
Procedure to Get Script from Widget Provider:
- The Widget service is a paid service which comes with 7 days of free trial.
- Create an account in https://dashboard.accessibe.com/ and login into the website.
- Go to the “My Licenses “and find the “Add New Websites “option to add domain name.
- After adding the domain, we can see our domain in the list and can click on the “Go to Installation “option.
- On the installation page we can find the script we require.
- To share that script either copy it to the clipboard and share it or we also have the option to send it directly via E-mail to the person we want to share with.
Add the script in the body of the page for the tool to be effective in all pages.
